Well, I imagine the arrows are relatively fast and they don’t actually need to follow the streets, so it is probably not that easy to follow them. Because, they are not so important, troll situation apart, so there is not that many people interested in following them. Now, the question is. Is the person following them Nicole?
When I was riding my motorcycle with a passenger, they tried to “help” once. It felt as if I was carrying a bag of potatoes that is tipping and nearly falling off.
Then I told him to just hold on to me and it suddenly was possible to take curves normally.
TL;DR: Just hold tight, don’t lean if the driver doesn’t expect you to lean.

To improve his landing skills simply tell him about all the missed opportunities he’s had to try and get a perfect superhero landing.
Those are bad enough on the knees that he’d need to revive.

It would be wild if she finds him knocked out or injured and this turns into a Misery type deal. Long shot I donโt want to happen, but that idea jumped the line in my brain.
Guessing heโs going to break something, hence the name of chapter?

I wonder if dumping Ethan on the roof in that sharp turn was the plan and, if so, if Ethan knew that was the plan.
That’s a good point; “Uhg” is a strangely casual response to falling to a painful and potentially crippling landing, even for someone whom that’s always a temporary concern.
So I think my take on this is a bit different from the comment section. Everyone in the comments seems to think Ethan lost grip, and accidentally fell.
To me, this is just Ethan being “Falling is faster” and just let go. The Ugh of annoyance vs an Ahh/Agh of fear situation. I’m sure it’ll be clear in the next panel, but it just feels very Ethan to hear “You said Roof? Got it, letting go.”

Good thing he still has his powers, lol.
Afraid this is gonna be one of those “hurt but not dead” situation
I wonder if Ethan took parkour or stuntman classes to learn the safest way to land from a fall.
Then considered the lesson a “how not do do it.”
I’m sure I remember him saying something about ” just aim the ground at your head” when he wanted to skip the stairs out of the apartment recently.
probably just trial and error
Maybe i’ misremembering but wasnt there an early comic where he mentioned something like this? Not long after they went to being superheroes?
I bet this glowing yellow arrow can crush skulls all-right. Very easy to fix…
The very first use was to chop off Ethan’s head. So yes, he’ll be fine.
Someone tailing them. That certainly breaks the monotony.
I’ll see myself out.
I’m surprised this hasn’t happened earlier, they are flying on 2 bright flares.

I donโt understand what theyโre doingโฆ
When they do the sharp turn, Ethan lost grip and falls
I think it was intentional
I think Gonfrask is right, Ethan had to lean into it, and didn’t, so he just fell instead.
