Honestly, it was about this time when the game Brutal Legend came out. It’s a fun, rock-themed game that is mainly rpg (you fight with a guitar-axe!) with some rts elements at times. It’s big draw was the main character being voiced by Jack Black, and Ozzy Ozbourne making an appearance. The violence isn’t especially brutal, and I would definitely recommend the game. The gameplay is good for what it is, and the story is enough to keep you playing.
