Ok, so far the response has been practically unanymous. We’ll do a color book. It will cost slightly more, but it will please the most people. Someone brought up a good point. If you’re going to pay for something, why would it be of lesser quality than what you’re getting for free.

So we’re going to start cleaning and arranging my high quality originals into a book. I’m not quite sure how many we’ll include in the first edition, but I’ll let you know. If this goes well, I plan to collect all of the strips into a book periodically, in additional volumes.

Let me tell you a little bit about my ideas for the book.

First of all, the book will include some new and original comics. Something you’ll only get in the book. Perhaps a few-page story.

Then there will be a comic on every page, and a space for commentary below it. In this space you’ll get ‘behind-the-scenes’ type notes from me about all manner of things. It will be like a director’s commentary on a DVD.

I have no idea what size the book will be, how much it will cost, when it will be available, etc, but if the response is good enough, we’ll definitely go forward with it.
