So spring is finally here, winter is behind us, and I’ve been feeling reenergized. I’m smack dab in the middle of a huge work project that is taking up every moment of my time (apart from the occasional Splinter Cell break) and that I will be announcing soon.
On top of that, you will be seeing new posters, new t-shirts, new desktop wallpapers and finally seeing the console skins I’ve been promising for ages now. This is going to be a big year for CAD, so stay tuned.
As I mentioned last week, I will be at Anime Boston with the very last of the first print run of Ctrl+Alt+Del Volume One. I’ve been getting a lot of emails from people telling me that they can’t make it to the convention, and wanting to know if I can sell them a copy. No.
Eventually we will reprint the book, and they will be available for sale online. So if you can’t make it to Anime Boston to grab one in person, you will have to wait until the second printing. Do not ask me when that will be, because I don’t know for sure right now.
Furthermore, I will not be reserving copies for people coming to Anime Boston. That’s just too much of a hassle, and it’s not fair to other people. I will be posting the times when I will be at my table in the dealer’s room. It’s the only way I can do it.
I played through Doom 3 on the PC, months ago when it came out, but finding out that the Xbox version has a co-op mode makes it too good to pass up. I may pick that up sometime this week.
Also, if you want to check out a book filled with some of the most incredible artwork known to man, go pick up The Art of Greg Horn. His paintings are beyond belief.
By the way… what are the chances that any fans of this site live near the New Haven CT area and work in an auto body shop/auto paint shop, or have extreme knowledge of working with aftermarket body kits, and restoration? Just curious, of course… I know this isn’t exactly the best audience to find fans of import tuning.
