Ethan seems to have grown a stubble on the chin between second and third panel

That’s because he’s been trying to use voice commands for that long.

Where’s Zeke? Why does he talk with Cortana 🙁 That’s cheating :/

We all remember what did happen when last time Scott had a project…

Well, to see Zeke, we will probably have to wait for end of last arc, since it’s that universe. I wonder if Zeke would be flirting with Cortana if it was the older version of Zeke…

In this universe Zeke is one of the villains they fight.

Sort of.
So far, the villains have been representative of assorted things online:
Bots (Red ring samurai stuff) Hacking/cheating (“Black Hat”, or that kid with a glove) , Trolls (Same name, NOT as a reference to other comics), and Zeke is to be determined what exactly he represents.
See the last few pages of A&D to see a nice long evaluation of the timeline variations.
Zeke is not necessarily a “Villain”. He could wind up being a modified antagonist who then upon being repaired becomes a protagonist, or maybe he gets destroyed. Who knows. *coughTimdoescough*

Scott’s project might be a proto Embla (BAD!), new gear (good), cleaning up the Ethan carcasses (look, the start to pile up and eventually someone will ID him. Plus they smell.) or maybe, if Ethan and Lucas have successfully knocked out RR Zeke 2.0 (Red ring Zeke 2.0, or RRZ2 for short) he could be planning on working on correcting Zeke’s original Windows functions…using a Linux interface. (It is implied that while Scott didn’t rescue Ted – the potential reason why he is in a wheelchair -, an doesn’t have the NO WINDOWS AJENIFAJCA ideology, he still uses Linux as… Read more »

I’ve been waiting to make a proper pun about this comic, and I have found it.

I’m curious…what type of game is Immortal Thirst that you can see the mouth of a character presumably important to the player?

Didnt you know? MPS is the latest and greatest craze in vampire games. Unlike a traditional FPS where you see out of the eyes as if your in first person in a Mouth Perspective S**ker you see the world from the inside of your characters mouth. The interface is drawn on the back of the teeth and the laser fangs help with targeting.

Your armor and face, etc are all modifiable customized bits on your Skyrim or Fallout 4 character too. Many people play in FPS mode in both games. Why customize your toon and armor if you don’t see him? CUTSCENES!!! It’s all about looking cool af in cut scenes and menu screens!
