Brian, the owner of the venue where the after party is taking place, sent along this post he wrote with some details about the party, as well as some great links of things to do in the Baltimore area while you’re in town for Digital Overload!

Hey everyone! I am the owner of The 8×10 where the official DIGITAL OVERLOAD AFTER PARTY is taking place.

I am pretty stoked to be able and offer up my venue to CAD and hope that everything with DO 2011 goes well so it comes back to Baltimore for 2012.

First let me tell you a little about what we are planning for the after party. We are going to open at 5pm so people can come straight over from the Convention Center.

We will be having a Xbox360 hooked up to our 10000 watt PA and projected on a 15 foot screen. I believe Mortal Kombat will be the game of choice for that one.

We also will have an Xbox360 upstairs with Madden running.

CAD/DO will be supplying another Xbox360 but I am not sure what will be on that.

Around 7pm to 11pm we will host 5 separate CHIP MUSIC ARTIST. They will be performing live 8 bit compositions.

The artists are:

Music by:

Trey Frey

Math Panda

Forever The Win

Kedromelon

Temp Sound Solutions

Visuals by:

Pixelseed

It should be awesome!

BEST OF ALL IT IS FREE TO ALL BADGEHOLDERS.

I wanted to make this post so I could share some info about Baltimore as well.
