Otakon is just a little over a week away. If you’re going to be in the Baltimore area the weekend of the tenth, swing by and say hello… you may have a chance to buy one of the Limited Edition Otakon Posters. I am going to print up a set number of these (not more than fifty) and try to sell them off at the con. Until further notice, Otakon is the only place you’ll be able to purchase this poster. If the demand is great enough, perhaps sometime in the future I’ll do a standard run and sell them on the site.
Speaking of selling posters on the site, I received four hundred cardboard tubes in the mail yesterday, which now occupy a ridiculous amount of space in my kitchen. Once I can find some malaysian child labor to start writing out all the shipping labels for me, I will start mailing everyone their posters. You should be receiving them in a week or two.
Are you bored? Yes you are. I can tell by the way you’re sitting. Don’t argue with me, damnit. Good, I’ve got a few things you can do to keep yourself occupied, and not throwing tangerines at the elderly.
First, you can head on over to the Ctrl+Alt+Del forum or chat room and get yourself some good CAD Community lovin’.
Also, head on over to Konsekai: Swordwaltzer. Xero just relaunched the site with an entirely new design. SwordWaltzer is an awesome read, head over there and check it out.
In other, more horribly, devastatingly tragic news, Vivendi Universal has announced that Half Life 2 has been delayed. It will no longer make its projected September release date, and is now slated for “Holiday 2003”.
If you’ll excuse me, I have something in my eye.
No, I’m not crying.
I’m fine, just leave me alone.
