Anyways, most of this scene is basically directly derived from the original Frankenstein. The Monster rants to Victor about his own hardships, how the Monster is kind yet always excluded and banished when seen, and kindly requests Victor to build him a companion (there’s no actual Bride of Frankenstein, that came from other things).
