It’s hilarious how everybody thought (myself included :D) that Ethan will certainly fall to semi-death 😀
But I do really like his moments of real heroic professionalism.
Ol’ Ethan had this moments of surprising maturity, too. I enjoyed them very much, too 🙂
I had a frustrating moment yesterday where I needed to contact someone but they left their phone at home, so I was initially annoyed at Ethan for keeping his communicator/phone off, which can’t be a smart thing to do for superheroes. But then I realized that on top of him wanting to be alone they probably don’t use those communicators all that much since they’re usually side by side, that and they usually go up against powerless thugs that they can defeat easily so I’m willing to give him a pass. But I hope that he learns from this experience… Read more »
Oh how I miss the days when you could just walk out your door to get away from your phone 🙁

Action sequences look amazing, as always. The colors look awesome, too; hats off to Davi. The warm and cool contrasts really look beautiful.
From the spread-eagle jump he’s doing, I wonder – Ethan respawns at the last “safe” location, I’m guessing? So if he fell from a ledge, he would respawn standing on the ledge, not on the concrete where he splatted?
Well, if he respawned where he died, all one would need to do is snipe him in MID-AIR. This would make him respawn in mid air, forcing him into an infinite death loop.
I mean then he’d fall, die on the ground and then respawn there, it wouldn’t cause a loop unless you kept shooting him there in which case it doesn’t seem like you’ve solved the problem
Well, his powers haven’t been fully explained yet, maybe he has to bind to a new location, otherwise he could wind up respawning at his last bind point, which could be a few blocks away, or half a world away. Imagine if they go on a trip to Japan and he binds there, then when they get home he forgets to re-bind before going into action.
OK, I’ve been reviewing all of Ethan’s respawns, and think I see a pattern. First – He does *not* simply return to the last safe location, as if the ‘game’ just loaded the last ‘autosave’. Case in point, strip 1.21: Ethan swings from a ledge, smashes through a window, dies from multiple glass wounds, then respawns IN the room – not outside of it. That would imply that Ethan’s respawn is to be close to where he died. Close to, but not EXACTLY where he died. On 2.20, Ethan self-detonates, then appears behind his assailant, able to catch him off-guard.… Read more »

I’m very excited where this plot will lead us to.
As he can’t hurt himself in moments of lack of it, he has more chances to show his maturity.
“For the past couple of weeks” it’s been like a year, dude XD
Seriously though I’m super excited to see where the story goes!
Yeah yeah yeah, rub it in. XD
juses christ the build up

Neat research. 🙂 d_(^.^)_b Seems legit.
Interesting theory eldest gruff. However I think your overthinking it. Clearly his power respawns him wherever “PLOT” demands he appear. 😛
That’s a neat idea! I always thought it was more like a respawn in World of Warcraft, but I like your idea better.
