You make some good points, but you forgot that a lot of those spear&hut tribes ended up getting wiped out due to being called savage or having outlived their usefulness. Now if an alien race is capable of reaching us in a relatively short time (assuming that the crew that arrives at Earth is the same crew that left their planet) then it would be safe to assume that only 1 of the following 2 would happen: 1) they would see that we absolutely hate each other and try to find some way to unify earth by showing the endless… Read more »
The possibilities depend drastically on what kind of aliens are out there; there’s no guarantee that they’re war-mongering imperialists like our own history. MIB movies would have us believe a vast majority of them (that even care about Earth) are harmless tourists and immigrants while terrorists and criminals are kept in check by just this one organization.
