Yep. In various incarnations it is Jim who either worked the one who was working the case and met 8 year old Bruce (while being in his mid/late-20s) or is only about ten years older if you go by Batman: Year One (which would put Barb around 8-10, but then she isn’t Jim’s biological daughter so she wasn’t in the picture yet anyway).
Even back in CAD 1.0, Lucas had bad luck with relationships. Why should 2.0 be any different? Plus I’ve noticed over the years people that give advice rarely follow it. I heard all kinds of crap from my friends about my wife when we started dating, “she’s a sl&t” or “you can do better” when in fact my wife was prettier than any of their girlfriends. Nearly 40 years later, we’re still together and as happy as ever while none of them are….

I mean maybe I am reading into it a little but he did just meet him in front of Marvel VS Capcom…
I had such a hard time working out why there’s this blurry panel with jagged borders and Marvel figures; thanks for pointing out that it’s an arcade.

Step one of not making bad decisions is knowing you’re making a bad decision. People rarely get to step two which would involve actually choosing to not do the thing. Or at least, there are always those areas of weakness.

Lucas is gonna get more and more involved with Ben and something is going to happen. Some sort of situation where Lucas has to choose between using his powers or letting himself or Ben get seriously injured. It won’t out Lucas publicly, but it will out him to Ben, and then it will be really interesting where it goes from there.

I have played more MvC2 than any other game. I am now enthralled with where this goes.
youch, that just might be a dealbreaker
Was… that a Bad Batch reference?
I just finished rewatching TCW and had a hard laugh on this one 🙂
less bad batch more clone wars. we first saw echo say this line in i wanna say season 4?
And seems like main command is under General D’s hands.
Sargent D actually….
Lucas is just doing what the guy with the helmet says…..
I laughed.
No worries, its just as if Batman wasnt dating Barbara Gordon (Batgirl) but James Gordon 🙂
Go on…
At least that would be more age appropriate…
hey hey! they are both legal, consenting adults…. just might need to take precautions for the jerryatric.
But…James-Bruce age difference is almost the same that Bruce-Barbara… isn’t?
thew ages seem a little confusing when you think that Gordon is so much older than Bruce, but his daughter is so much younger.

Bruce and Barbara is a Bruce Timm feverdream and I do not accept it’s existence.
Disgraceful
Why do I get the feeling we’re getting setup for some serious heartbreak
Spoiler alert – his date is also an enhanced!
So….supervillain or superhero?
“Good soldiers follow orders.”
So… is Lucas a dom or a sub?
Lucas you dumbass, that’s a double-standard and you’re full of shit.
Surprise surprise! Most people are.

New Age of Heroes.
More specifically… Marvel vs Capcom 2.
