Wrong, your value as a human comes directly from how far you can turn your cog and make the corporate overlords richer. ‘Free’ time isn’t free and that it time you could have better spent working for your masters.
The statement ‘Time enjoyed intentionally is not wasted” only applies to your perspective (or someone’s at any rate). If one person sees something as wasted and another doesn’t, that does not mean either is right or wrong. The activity is what it is. To some it will seem like a waste of time (even if they may be the one playing) and some will see it as (things other than waste of time). I play video games but I freely admit that some times the tie is wasted (and I’m not even including situations like a reload which does waste… Read more »
Zeke was fond of murdering Ethan even at the best of times, and that was before he got betrayed and had his brain half fried. I’m not sure if meeting him now, of all times, really would be the wisest course.
Though it probably would confirm whether Ethans resurrection powers truly are gone or not.

I am starting to think he might accidentally kill himself and that is how they will solve this issue.
Ooo, attempt to heroically save someone by jumping in front of a bullet (even though he thinks he has lost his powers), but trip and accidentally kill himself before he gets to them.
I thought that too, like when he slipped off the shelf in the stock room while Zeke was watching. But now I think it’s more likely he encounters Deathblood, who recognizes him from their previous encounter, and tries to kill him.
Why would Deathblood try to kill him? He’s not a heinous criminal. He just tried to persuade DB to not massacre the gang and got in his way as a result. That wouldn’t put him in DB’s crosshairs himself.
Potential situation is that he’s in the way and Deathblood knows he can’t be killed, so just blows him away. Clean conscience style.
(This would also be a great way to find.out his powers actually were taken away)
Deathblood kills people who try to stop him, he was willing to listen to Ethan’s argument, but ultimately it didn’t work
The question is if Deathblood would be willing to kill him again (without him attempting to interfere), which he probably wouldn’t

Feeling that “Ethan with a lot of free time” is going to enter Lucas’s “Avoid when possible” list.

And now comes what I saw at least a few people predicting: the part of all this where the Troll’s curse becomes a gift, granting Ethan a long-overdue vacation.

Jeez, you guys! You’re all assuming he’s going to play games. I think he’s going to learn to cook and become a famous chef in later panels. Then we’ll have a return of Chef Brian!

If he trips on the controller with a mortal table edge crack, is it prophecy or irony?

I didn’t expect Ethan to be playing Everquest for the rest of the arc. Oh well, guess the plot will have to find it way

Wasnt there a highly dangerous robot running around in the city they were suppose to be looking for?
Video games *aren’t* something he considers as ‘free time activities’?? Now there’s a surprise!
That was done during “the little time left activities” most probably
Going out on a limb here.
How about getting that gaming backlog down? 😉
How many pages long do you wanna bet his steam wishlist is lmao
I recommend the old line printers with endless paper
Spend the time as every self respecting gamer would: Wasting it ! Hope u stocked up on snacks and a ton of carbonated sugarfluid.
Your value of a human is inherent and not based on productivity. Time enjoyed intentionally is not wasted.

it was a quote from CTRL ALT DEL animated series 🙂

Look for Zeke?
YES, we need the best boi back
probably not a good idea right now

Did you see that guy whose gas lift on the chair exploded and hit his…?

Except it already did put him in DB’s crosshairs
