I’m not sure about that. Lucas and Ethan are on completely different wavelengths here, and I don’t think that Ethan really *gets* what Lucas is worried about. I think Lucas is just being patient. Back on p5, when Ethan asks nonchalantly “What do we do now?” Lucas is far more serious. “I don’t… there’s only one thing we can do, but…” and then, cut off. And now here, “We have other things to talk-” and again, cut off. Eugene’s got their identities, has threatened to expose them to the world, and potentially now has leverage to force THEM to act… Read more »

Ethans new super personality, Paranoia Man, able to induce stress with long hyped monologues.
Honestly marveled at how accurately Tim captured my current mindset as well with Ethan’s last comment XD

Guess the Troll is a lot better at his art than anyone thought. Dude was in a coma for a while and yet he still got to Ethan the whole time.

I don’t usually think of Lucas as being that much of a dick.

I think Lucas is just deeply committed to his role of complementing Ethan. Some personalities often seek such roles.
Even if the situation merits freaking out, he must remain cool because someone has to keep their head.
This sometimes includes acting TOO cool, just to compensate for Ethan’s stronger freaking.
Also, he clearly enjoys that dynamic. He finds Ethan funny, and perhaps even derives a slightly douchey pleasure out of being the more mature and rational one of the duo.

Lucas: (destroys TV because angry weeb threatens to reveal his identity to the world then storms off to sulk when news reporter shows up fully aware that he’d have a better chance explaining what happened than Ethan) Also Lucas: Oh, that psychopath who almost killed 3 people for lols is missing from the hospital where he was on life support, under police guard and in a coma. Oh, well, that’s how things work. Let’s torment Ethan’s guilty conscious for giggles. After all, I’M still seen as the HERO in that situation because I actually SAVED the people, Ethan just stood… Read more »
I’m convinced you nailed it. Its the high-dosage painkillers that he got a fresh dose of when he got home. Then Ethan got back later and Lucas is on drugs XD
I wonder if The Surgeon got The Troll.
Maybe, but I thought the Surgeon liked superheroes, was Troll a super?
He’s super annoying.
Badum-pish.
he is now
Depending on how the Surgeon works, he might be now.
Lucas may seem to enjoy this a little bit too much. Love how you drew his facial expressions!

Can someone say PTSD? ?
Post Troll Superhero Drop 😉
Yeah, he slipped …. what a “shame”.
Shame he didn’t slip and fall from a higher building onto something sharp.
I can relate to having lost ‘neutral’.
Last balloon is too relevant to current news.
I think Ethan lost his sense of where Neutral was about 18 years ago.
Did he even have a neutral to begin with seems more likely hes lawfull chaotic from birth
What the heck is lawful chaotic, besides an oxymoron?
“I’m the President, I make the rules” is lawful chaotic. “Break the law?! I AM the law!”
I don’t blame Ethan. Being in a situation like that would make most anyone lose their sense of neutrality.
Seems like “losing all sense of where neutral is” would be something Ethan had gotten used to by now.
Ethan needs a mute button
That last panel, that seems to be the perfect panel to describe my state of mind for this lovely election week of 2020.
Honestly marveled at how accurately Tim captured my current mindset as well with Ethan’s last comment XD
