For some reason, my browser keeps being hijacked from this site. Any idea what’s going on?

If you get a message to Tim about what you’re seeing then he will shout at the advert people.

As Mr Orwell said…

“Kul Tiras was at war with Kalimdor; therefore Kul Tiras had always been at war with Kalimdor.”

You also get dark iron dwarfs, lightborne draenei for alliance. horde gets highmountain tauren, nightborne (night elves), aaaand zandalari trolls.

So twice as many elves as anyone else, when they’re already way too numerous, elves outnumbering the trolls and tauren combined by miles. Fucking elves.

The elves aren’t actually so numerous. Their populations are apparently rather small in comparison to the humans. But there are many different kinds of elves because of their connection to magic and their involvement in the backstory of the entire Warcraft series. Elves become changed by the sources of magical power they use, which is why, in addition to the original night elf race, we have high elves that use arcane magic from the Sunwell, void elves that tap into the Void, etc.

However we allready know that all elves are really trolls.

I wouldn’t worry about too many elves. These 6 new races are just the first Allied Races. More are coming. It’s quite obvious the differently-built Kul Tiras humans and brown orcs are coming in the first patch. And after that, who knows? There’s a ton of likely non-elf races. Like, Ogres.

I’m liking the “toy story”ish notion of how NPC’s would react to game updates.

Tbh I find it amazing how poor all the maps are in Azeroth. You would have thought they would have the different islands – before – the expansions. The only excuses would be Pandaria and whatever was discovered after the cataclysm (and even that pvp prison area would have been known).

Dude, have you ever SEEN a medieval, renaissance, or pre-modern map?

Kul Tiras has been on multiple maps, just maybe not the right size or position. Zandalar has been part of the game’s lore too for a long time.

I´m talking about the ingame map – not rts maps or fanmade ones. Also just because zandalar have been talked about since original wow it doesn´t mean it has been shown on the world map.

I am SO glad I quit this game back before the second expansion came out. And that was just because they gave the Blood Elves peculiarly long fingers.

Why, has i changed from grind 5 billion resources to get the best equipment that you can’t raid for unless your in a badass guild and have the time to devout to a raid schedule?

While the idea of being able to play as a dark iron dwarf sounds fun, it just screams lazy writing, adding color swaps and calling them new races. It just does. But what do I know? I started playing at the beginning of WotLK and quit after Pandaria. The community was unbearably toxic and I was tired of having to change specs after every patch or dropping 5k to enchant uncommon weapons I wouldn’t use for more than a week. Just a load of unreasonable BS to get any joy out of this stinkpile. I can’t ever see myself spending… Read more »

Well, eventually they do run out of ideas do you can’t blame them for that…much.
On the other hand, you would think that an ever expanding fantasy world could have more variety in types of species.
How about instead of “Void Elf” you have an “Otherborn” or something where you have a pitch black character with purple eyes…wait no…hm… this is harder than I thought.
Sentient Golems?
Spider people?
Probably-not-Zoras?

*25 hours later*
Null Dwarves. They look just like dwarves, but they are black and create wormholes. Wait…DAMMIT

Really what impresses me is the quality construction of his house. Holds up a continent without any sagging in the middle.

As cool as Blizzcon and the content they revealed was….I’m still not sold on any of it really. The WoW one was particularly hard on me, because MAN IT’S KUL TIRAS AND ZANDALAR AND THE ALLIANCE VS. HORDE. On the other hand WoD was a goddamn wreck and the system design in Legion was so bad I gave up before I finished Suramar, much less did Broken Shore or Argus. It’s like…I want the new stuff to be good and experience so badly, but then I’ve been burned by two bad expacs in a row and another MMO has stolen… Read more »
