Honestly, I don’t mind it over texts or other “quick” messaging types. However, saying “lol” out loud is weird and horrible

Story time with Not Eric. Hope y’all are ready, this is a fun one. For years and years and years I never typed “lol” unless I was specifically writing shorthand for ‘drowning’ (because lol looks like a man drowning… don’t judge me this is a webcomic comment thread). I lent my iPhone (an iPhone 3 mind you) to a buddy whose phone had died. He mimed a phone call and while doing so went into my settings and created a custom rule that would replace any instance of “lol” in my outgoing text messages to “I love long dongs.” SEVERAL… Read more »
