I dunno, DB seems really unstable and Troll is good at getting under people’s skin. Imagine he makes DB his next target and everyone starts making fun of him.
A story line where the Troll pokes at DB and then Ethan is forced to protect the Troll (ineffectually) from DB? I think that might be kind of an obvious trope.
Deathblood did not seem even a little unstable. He had a perfectly normal conversation with Ethan, even gave him multiple chances to step aside before declaring him an accessory and shooting.
You may disagree with his methods, his justification for what he does. That’s fine. But that doesn’t make him unstable.
I’d honestly expect little reaction from Deathblood, other than maybe a ‘this is why I kill them’ told-you-so. The Troll was active long before Ethan entered the scene, so Deathblood presumably has heard of him already. That he hasn’t bothered to kill the Troll in the past few years seems to indicate he either doesn’t want him dead (highly unlikely) or he simply doesn’t have a reason to go after him over the myriad of other criminals that need exterminating. He’ll happily kill him if they do cross paths, but Deathblood’s got better things to do than chase down every… Read more »
I think its more than that. Deathblood is not even setting his targets as HIGH as low tier villains. He’s going after normal criminals. Like many extreme bullies, he’s a coward at heart.
Deathblood doesnt strike me as much of a detective- he’s probably going after easily found criminals, like the ones Ethan stumbled across accidentally.
From what we’ve seen, the Troll was literally just trolling supers until he started strapping bombs to people and burning buildings to get at Ethan. In other words – the Troll wasn’t a criminal, let alone a criminal that the system had and let go. So Deathblood had no reason to go after him. Now though, that the Troll did that bomb strapping thing, escaped from being “arrested” in the hospital, and is now burning buildings? I could see Deathblood starting to take an interest. Assuming his idea of the system failing includes criminals escaping custody and isn’t more limited… Read more »

looked back at the end of the last time the troll was around. he slammed through a chemical truck…i dont think mace is gonna work. unless she has the medieval kind.
Well, in this iteration she is not the Lilah of iterations past. So far, she hasn’t done much to differentiate her from other background characters. It’s currently only a pure business relationship between her and the crew.
The only thing that currently links her to the former Lilah is her name. If she was named Sarah, nobody would be worrying about her right now.

Confirmation that Ethan is in fact a humanoid orange cat. Today was his turn to share the world wide braincell all orange cats share lol
Yeah we had one, I am NOT getting another one. Both the one my wife and I had and my parents had were border-line feral. Both of those seemed to think it was fun to insert all 4 sets of claws and teeth in bare legs as often as possible, or attack you if you were eating and they weren’t. Ears, nose, fingers, and toes were simple chew toys to them and don’t you DARE move if you wake up with them laying on you. My youngest was three when we found that out, he’s still terrified of cats 30… Read more »
