I bet the art for a blazing building from inside is a hell to draw but it’s going to be amazing. You could even say that I’m alight with anticipation.
As someone who’s been in a fire, I can tell you that technically it should be nothing but insanely dense smoke. Hollywood lies, you can’t see in a burning building at all.

Can confirm, my apartment burned a year and a half ago, the fire was only visible for a couple of minutes before the smoke made it impossible to see or breathe.

Honestly, until the 4th Panel I expected it to be a different character named Raziel but after that I only have only one thing to say: “I know you Tim, you are worthy.”

Everyone in the comments lamenting Legacy of Kain… You’ve made grown gamers cry today, Tim.
I misread it as “Azrael” and thought it was a Batman reference until I saw thatt panel and realized he went for Legacy of Kain. Then quietly hoped there was a reboot or something. Then I remembered Tony Jay is dead so we can’t have him voice the Elder God and I got worried for a sec. Too early for all these feels, man.
There’s a voice actor named Timothy Brummund who has taken over at least one of Tony Jay’s old roles, Megabyte. He has a VERY similar voice, and I feel like he could be a possible candidate.
Of course, it’ll never happen anyway. Being a Legacy of Kain fan is suffering.
I just glossed over the plot to the 2018 series on Wikipedia and holy shit that made my brain hurt. I might have to watch it late one night with a bottle of rum.

If I’m sweating on my bicycle I’ll freeze much sooner, so I should have considered that earlier. I didn’t in real life.
Not really. The water isn’t contained and is thinly spread out on the surface of your skin so it’ll evaporate well before it gets hot enough to “cook” you, and that evaporation can help cool you down. Also, covering your face with a wet cloth can help with dealing with smoke inhalation.
That said, having sopping wet clothing could work as extra insulation and inhibit your body’s ability to dissipate heat, so that could be dangerous.
