Okay, we’re back! I hope you all had a fantastic week, whether or not you spent it with family for Christmas. I appreciate you all bearing with me as I took a couple of days off. December gets so busy with traveling to see family, and decorating and shopping, etc, that Christmas is the one time of the year I let myself off the hook for an update day.
But! The holidays aren’t quite over yet, as around these parts we’ve got one more to celebrate at the end of January: Winter-een-mas is on its way!

Hey, lemon! Congrats on entering the service. Which branch did you apply for? And don’t worry about missing CAD. Uncle Sam provides well for his soldiers. While I was in A-school (training for my MOS of “job in the navy” in layman’s terms), I was able to pick up a laptop for cheap and spend my off-days cruising the internet, so you won’t miss much. Pfft, dont believe Ven. Basic training these days is a snap. Just do what you’re told, shut up and do more than you think you can and you’ll be fine. Recruit Division Commanders, Drill Instructors and Drill Sergeants can’t strike you, touch you or even use profanity these days, so it’s not difficult as long as you obey the rules above. They will cycle/pt (make you exercise) until you wish you were dead, so be ready for that. XD. “or even use profanity these days” Where the hell did you train? That was not my experience at all! Petty Officer Mitchell up in Great Lakes could string together an “action statement” with such eloquence that it could bring a tear to a man’s eye, especially if screamed at point blank range.

I love that this iteration of Ethan is athletic enough to pull a ninja kick like that without comically destroying his lower body by accident. Perks of being a superhero and all that. Gotta stay limber for all those suicidal sneak attacks XD
In my house, our tree is full of light, durable ornaments so that our two-year-old can’t destroy it. Looks like Ethan and Lucas’ tree is the same.
Hey Tim – if I remember correctly, didn’t you create PDFs of each of the different styles of Winter-een-mas crowns we saw in the comic, so we could print our own? Any chance of getting them again?

We do make an effort to track down and ban ads that dont follow the rules. It’s tough, because everyone gets different ads based on region, etc. But I’ve reported that one and we’ll see if we can find it.
