It is completely with Ethan. He doesnt know about the killswitch at all, but this is certainly going to build to something later. Wheels aught to spend more time with him, but I doubt that is is going to be anything more than a source of pain later.

This is going to be such a disaster when Zeke finds out about the bomb. It pre-emptively hurts.
Isn’t the point of a self destruct to destroy the important bits? They may be able to replace the shell and maybe the mechanical side but the programming and actual ‘brain’ that makes him ZK would (or should if the Master was even semi competent) be lost
In all fairness, Ethan doesn’t know and I feel he should be able to convince Zeke of that by now. Scott and Lucas on the other hand are a different story, so will Zeke’s trust in other humans be from now on. So Ethan could be key here in keeping Zeke on the straight and narrow with his almost innocent like “good-ness”. One thing is certain, though, there will be drama!

Regular human in terms of fighting ability (Ethan is effectively immortal, and Lucas has his arrow-y powers), and still disabled, meaning he wouldn’t be able to do much directly, whether the things he makes exceed the boundaries of normal tech or not.
He was a villain in the original run of this story… when they weren’t superheroes and all that. But there was also some eldritch penguin pulling his strings, so who knows at this point.
Lucas asked Scott to disable, or expand, the security perimeter. Different than disabling the failsafe, he expects that to remain intact. Scott’s reply was sufficiently cryptic to leave lots of room for concern.

And I’m too busy to go back checking atm.. but didn’t they tell scott to disarm the bomb. Now, the question is, if scott went through with it anyways.
Zeke and Ethan were told that the bomb was disabled. Scott revealed elsewhere that the bomb was still active and geofenced either to that room or to the store.
I have one very tiny concern about this development: I assume Ethan just 3D-printed the schematics ZK gave him without reviewing them. If that is the case, there could potentially be more in there than just replacement for the broken parts. While I don’t think that ZK is still secretly hostile to everyone, the thought that they have access to potential hardware updates is concerning.

I think that’s the first time ZK has said “thanks” or really showed any genuine gratitude. Like, he went from “I want to wear your skin as a suit” to being sincerely grateful to Ethan.

I just noticed Zeke has a “mouth”!
At least if you if you look at their face upside down. ^^
The black line on his forehead that tends to disappear depending on how detailed they are drawn even seems to smile a little in the last panel. ?
And the eyes look more natural too somehow. Like they’ve got pupils now.

Oh gosh. Yeah I’m really not sure they’ll be able to defuse that situation
but they have spare parts now. long as the important circuitry and hardware survives enough they can rebuild him.

The point of the self-destruct was to kill Zeke. The important bits surviving might be important so he can wipe the memory and start again.
