I think it’s fair for 1) a bunch of people not caring about Diablo as a whole and then never hearing about the 4th installment until they end up in the comments of a random webcomic that they happen to read; 2) got pissed off enough about Immortal that they just wrote off the series; or 3) actively despise modern day Activision Blizzard due to either their support of Xi Jinping or the several employment scandals, and thus wouldn’t care even if Diablo was getting a main release I’m part of the first group personally, but the 3rd group totally… Read more »

I have also spoken recently about a Statute of Limitations on when Facebook can restrict your account. Going back to a 3 year old post and sending you to jail for 90 days now is just stupid!!
youtube completely nuking channels in a similar fashion. Unpublished rule changes + strikes from old ‘in spec’ content that is now somehow bad = buh bye.

*Shrug* Wasn’t sure why this was posted here yesterday but, in the interest of discussion: Stuff happens. One of my posts got nuked because I said that California was considering Reparations with a link to the news story (I believe the one that I used was the LA Times). Despite it being on every single major news network, the bots that run Facebook moderation nuked the post and gave me a warning. Only way that you can avoid this stuff from happening is to delete your Facebook account. Otherwise, you are giving tacit approval for Zuckerberg’s AI to do what… Read more »

I bet Zeke would be one hell of a cheater too. I can easily see them getting a lot of amusement out of people reacting to Zeke’s hacking and exploit abuse.
Of course once they’re done hacking out the master’s spine.

This is me thinking that the pings aren’t going to come but while playing the beta of this game Ethan is going to run into someone named ZeeKay or something similar in game and amends will be made… or Ethan’s avatar getting smited over and over, you know… potato potahtoe
Only semi-related, but I now expect Zeke to be (temporarily?) banned in some online game for being too good and accused of using bots, similar to how it happened to Legion in Mass Effect games, because they had too good reaction times, controlled a number of pets (at the same time) a human couldn’t manage (and without macros), etc.
And then somehow proved they are playing fair, without revealing they are a Geth. 🙂
Your argument is slightly off base since Zeke isn’t human, but could be corrected by replacing the word with sentient & intelligent.
It does make me really happy that Tim made the choice to make Zeke non-binary in this reboot. It’s pretty logical since they don’t really have any alignment with gender, even though people feel the need to make robots and cars and whatever else gendered.
