Well, for all those playing “Name That Mental Disorder”, you can check off ‘dissociative fugue state’ from the DSM-V (or ICD-10).

Transient psychotic episode on a background of Schzoid Personality Disorder or Schizoaffective Disorder are also possible choices (well, whether you interpret Ethan as more ‘cold emotions’ or ‘manic mood swings’), depending on if you think Ethan’s amnesia is a fugue symptom or because he got whacked over the head with a big, heavy object.

For those who chose “Cocaine-Induced-Delerium”, oh so close but better luck next time.
