I try not to be constantly posting reminders, but putting out comics three days a week for 16 years doesn’t happen without the continued support from our readers. Patreon has become one of the primary methods of keeping this site going and I’d love for you to check it out, and let me give you some bonus comics to boot. Our Patreon has currently amassed over 100 Patron Cameo comics, over 40 exclusive Ethan and Lucas one-shots, and nearly 30 new Chef Brian strips, with more each month. Plus, if you’re a Patron, you won’t have to feel guilty if you’re blocking our ads (the other primary method of support that allows us to continue to offer free comics here each week).
So if you like what we do here, I hope you’ll consider throwing a pledge our way. Even just a $1 a month (I put up 12 comics a month here for free, on average; so that’s like $0.08 a comic!) helps pay the bills. And if we get enough support to push us over our next milestone, all Patrons will get an extra Ethan and Lucas comic each month!

Oh my God, this hits way too close to home for me. So True. Somehow, between the lines, they’ve read something completely different than everyone else and they are dead set that they are correct. When they invent the ability to reach through a monitor and slap someone, I will be the happiest guy ever. I swear it!
The truth is, they actually did read exactly the same as everyone else. They just only care about what they want and feel they have a right to it and will use any tiny piece of information that will help validate their desire and will stubbornly hold to this information no matter how many times you point out the problem with their logic…
I only block ads on all sites because ad windows have been a venue for virus attacks. I’m waiting on a bonus check and maybe I can find time to slip a support pledge under your tree Tim, after all I’ve been reading this site for… quite a long while now.
I’ve gotten to the point that I just don’t go to certain sites anymore because of the pop-ups and “Oh, we see you don’t like Viruses or Automatically playing videos disrupting your reading, would you consider getting infected just on THIS site?” view blockers.

As a former Patron, and one who will be repledging once my financial situation works itself out, please let me tell you that IT’S WORTH IT. I loved the extra content, and even though you get the normal comics eventually here, it was kinda nice getting those earlier than expected. All in all, 10/10 will do again. Plus, the warm and fuzzies you get from supporting somebody whose work you’ve appreciated all these years is a nice touch. $10/month is less than I pay for my music subscription services, and I was happy to help out.
Also, I miss the monthly Q&As. And the cameo comic! Shit! Forgot how far behind I’ve fallen on that one! Gotta get back soon…..
trick with these is tell them its on back order or pre order only, take money and give receipt. bam you have money and their stupidity can go be annoying elsewhere.
I take offense to this (…well, no, not really)! I’m a casual and even I know better! If something’s out, check the release date! This is like going to the movies to see End Game when the trailer JUST came out….yes, it’s justifiable, but c’mon now!

No, but seriously… I probably should advertise it more, I just hate to feel like a constant salesman. It’s an important side of the business, obviously, just not my favorite. I try to find a balance between making a living/putting food on the table, and not annoying people with a ton of self-promotion, I guess.
