He’d use his grapple line, like Batman, except the grapple part was shaped like a controller

Ben is one of the Troll’s minions and they had figured out the secret identity. Been infiltrates and convinces that either: the troll was telling the truth and Ethan gets his wings clipped or; the Troll was lying when he wasn’t so that the lack of respawn and subsequent dead body issues breaks Lucas.
Amusing outcome: Troll didn’t quite get the serum right, Ethan fails to respawn for ‘some time after’. Think like Repopping AT his own funeral and there is some joke about him being late for it.
…But why, though? I can’t see a single reason any that would make sense, even if Troll hadn’t been arrested already. -Troll never bothers with such long-term, indirect tactics. He’s all about the direct, constant antagonizing and personal attacks. If he wants someone to feel bad, he’s going to actively make them feel bad, constantly, and make sure they know who is doing it. -Troll doesn’t know their identities, nor is there anything to suggest they did, or even that they care about it. Even when Troll had Analog complying with his demands, he didn’t demand to reveal his identity.… Read more »

Gotta say, I actually really like the new outfit for Ethan. Looks more badass and really like the subtle game controller outline to the helmet eyepiece and the body armour.

In that episode in which troll injected him with that serum and they were wondering whether he was telling the truth, I made a comment “Just push him Lukas” (or something like that). I still stand by it.
He didn’t because they were both in doubt. It might be a good character trait if Lucas could read the moment and be confident against Troll’s bluff, but Lucas is instead the kind of good character who can’t do that.

finding a vantage point and listening for trouble isn’t a BAD technique, honestly. Sound travels at night, and there’s no reason to waste energy if nobody’s out.
Tim, you’re a right bastard. (non-derogatory)
Yes he is. The Troll is a mere amateur in comparison.
Baby steps Ethan. Also who knows? Maybe that’s a particularly high crime alleyway…
“Oh look. What are the Waynes doing taking this alley?”
“and the course of Bruce’s life changed forever more…”
Getting in the gear, going outside, and taking a look for a possible crime… even in a limited area… its first steps.
The one thing I’d be asking Scott to do if I were Ethan – a Iron Man style helmet… right now, a shot (or shrapnel) could tear off his lower jaw….
Funny is the original costume while he was empowered had a Batman feel. Now he may be depowered his costume has a Captain America feel to it.
I guess he used to rely on his unique abilities to get down fast?
I don’t think so. He was just simply not afraid of heights, as in not afraid of almost anything, partly due to the respawn ability.
Lucas would usually transport him, I think.
He has a grappling hook.

Or if Ethan had to perform some ritualistic dance to activate his respawn – like Up Up Down Down Left Right Left Right (or at least think he does).

Nice shades of Cap’n America, too.
