The THUNDERESS is obviously the Nicole in disguise. Look at that build. She’s Deathblood as well. Who else would stand right in front of the building, possibly seen by the Troll or his aides, risking the dispersion of the chemical?
*Snorts* Was thinking Zeke Myself. What better disguise than someone who Is electricity by their powers and even has glowing eyes. Add a pair of mammaries and no fleshbag would even care.
Yeah. He’s scared for his life and won’t fly higher than groundlevel but doesn’t accept help from an actual superhero?
Even though they already knew they needed help abd got a literal kid to help them out?

So much for all who asked why a real hero wasn’t deployed….
But if the Troll now registers high enough and Thundress reckognizes Analog and D-Pad, they might need to face a Civil War choice soon, as I can totally see them being required to register.
I was indeed worried where the big league supes are at this level of threat.
Well, here. They are here.
Worries dismissed. Plot hole avoided. Hats off.
It seems to suggest it isn’t considered a city wide threat. The authorities might know more than our heroes. It is still credible enough to send someone and evacuate nearby houses, but it is more likely to be a bluff or just a small area attack.

I like the running joke that he is inadvertently known as “The” Analog (or Monologue, that one time).
Maybe Lucas is next to be bowlderized as the hero, “Andy Padd.”
Hmmm just learned that’s the wrong verb there. Misnomered, instead?

Ethan is able to face his (true?) death against the Troll, but no against the concrete

You know, after that idiotic ego-ridden response, I now vote for ethan to get waterboarded in that chemical like this is the guantanamo days. Maybe the next head that sprouts will have more intelligence, or retain some survival skills he implements while holding a controller.
Consider it from Ethan’s perspective: First, he had Lilah playing into the troll’s antics, and people saying he threw the Troll off a roof. Then, the Troll comes back, and A&D go to Captain Prime for assistance, who mocks them for all the bad guys they haven’t captured(even though they DID capture the Troll). The troll takes “hostages”, and the city sends a registered Supe to help, even though A&D have dealt with this guy before and there’s no evidence of any hostages. A&D don’t wind up requiring assistance, but Ethan then loses his powers, and gets told he can’t… Read more »
Oh I am considering his response. I just am seeing an infuriating trope of a need for himself to prove himself while steadfastly ignoring he cannot function like he imagines himself doing. He has ptsd, he also could hit up a hero therapy or something instead of gambling civilian lives. Does this explain my position a bit better? Reckless was 10 steps and 9 breakdance competitions in a minefield ago. He is in full obsession.

Ethan, if you get involved in some crazy shit and some superheroine with glowing eyes offers her help, you say “Thank you, please” and STFU

Aha! It IS Nicole! But the real twist is that Nicole was actually three racoons driving an android which explains why she switches personalities so fast. They’re arguing over who gets the mic.

So Ethan is going to sacrifice himself to save Sam and proving he still has his powers, right?
Out of curiosity, how would Sam’s life be threatened? The Troll has chemicals that do not kill. Elijah might kill, but he’s trying to protect kids. He might still try it as Sam is game related. It is still a smaller chance. Alex the hacker is a kid himself and unlikely to kill, even if he had a dangerous action on Lucas by drawing him into the sewers. In the chaos of battle perhaps? Some falling debris? I don’t think Ethan will die in this showdown. If he does, I don’t think it’ll be a split second decision to save… Read more »
It’s quite a stretch to assume that the chemical doesn’t kill. The Troll claims he can use it to Trollify, but most chemicals don’t work this way. The Troll himself suffered severe injuries and was under medical attention for months. If anyone else will be attacked with the chemical, it’s very unlikely that he’ll get the same damage and get the same surgeries
In the real world any gas can kill if administered in the wrong way. Pure oxygen can easily explode, or if put in the vein it can cause heart failure or parts of the brain to die. That being said, this comic has only established the chemical as dangerous, not inherently deadly. The stakes simply haven’t been death. The Troll did fall in a truck of the stuff and needed a hospital to recover. Instead of falling in a truck people will get gassed or sprayed with the chemical. It simply isn’t in the same league. There is nothing to… Read more »

5 bucks says Thundress is his girlfriend. Backstory is she lost her previous boyfriend/significant other to a villain and is now overprotective. (Doesn’t make it okay, but makes it understandable. )
Ohhh thunder and lightning, very very frightening
mamma mia
yeah I got nothing but didn´t want to waste already typed words. I think this is going to go very great, no problems at all, barely an inconvenience.
Oh, really?
Mamma mia let me go!
Magnifico-o-o-o
That was Gameboy line in the previous scene.
“Dispersing the chemical over just yourselves would be considered acceptable.
Though if there’s spillage into the city afterwards, we will call in Baron Skullstaff to raise your souls and hold you accountable.”
Something something needs of the many, needs of the few.

She’s the Troll in disguise I tell you.
Oh please, again with that nonsense? Didn’t you notice the clever way her hands are always hidden behind the speech bubble and panel edges?
Obviously that’s to hide how she’s wearing the hacking glove Alex uses. The head ornament is a dead giveaway too, as we know Elijah uses a face mask.
Mark my words, this is definitely a Alex and Elijah stacked together, 3-(well-2-)kobolds-in-a-trenchcoat style.
On a second viewing you’re right! I can see the start of the glove. Just like Dr Eldrich is wearing! https://cad-comic.com/comic/coverage-p4/
You’ve convinced me. It’s Jimmy from the very first comic of 2.0.
Disagree. They definitely did a fusion dance to achieve that form.
*Snorts* Was thinking Zeke Myself. What better disguise than someone who Is electricity by their powers and even has glowing eyes. Add a pair of mammaries and no fleshbag would even care.
Thunderess is a woman.
Lilah is a woman.
Therefore, Thunderess is Lilah.
I’m glad we’re getting all the theories out of the way as quickly as possible.
Well done, y’all.
I don’t much care for Ethan’s defensive posture in this. I would prefer a more mature approach to being helped.
You do realise this is Ethan we’re talking about?
Yeah. He’s scared for his life and won’t fly higher than groundlevel but doesn’t accept help from an actual superhero?
Even though they already knew they needed help abd got a literal kid to help them out?

But not Captain Prime, who usually handles citywide threats.
I do suspect Lilah will be on the scene, though.
