You wanna go there, let’s go. It’s you baby boomers who perpetuated a costly war over arbitrary boundaries that ended up with huge losses on both sides. Your generals were so incompetent at their job that the victims of the people you hurt, largely accidentally, said “Fuck you, we’re willing to let the worlds burn if we take you out, too!” It’s gotten so bad between the traitors in our own ranks and the arms dealers and the milktoast politicians standing by letting it happen, if not actively encouraging the cycle, that the actual good guys said, “This shit has… Read more »

Someone’s got Hiroshima levels of butt hurt going for them right now, and the total lack of actual historical knowledge to make one the fool too.

Ok now do one where there’s a guy wearing a shirt that reads “baby boomer” and he’s using a lighter to set fire to a sign that reads “housing market” and another one taking a chainsaw to a giant tree that’s marked “economy” while Trump is telling everyone climate change isn’t real while the world falls apart behind him.

MacLeod apparently thinks the government determines what loans a bank gives out AND that the GOP doesn’t control every branch of government.

Oh and FUN FACT: Anyone who THINKS that Obama caused the recession flat out wrong, the Recession had been building up in odds of occurring for years, nothing could have “stopped” it. And very little that Obama did furthered it. Healthcare was not of the things that did, rather it actually helped reduce it slightly. (He didn’t cause a war in the Middle East or anything either, that was Obama inheriting issues from Bush) Granted, Obama is no saint. Nor is any Democrat OR Republican. But he doesn’t deserve the hellish amount of blame I’ve seen hurled at him a… Read more »

Actually it was an assortment of things.
At about the same time a series of bubbles elsewhere began to pop.
The US was but another recipient of a global pain.
No one group or person is to blame.
