A speech was out of the question while under the cone of silence, was he planning an intimidating stare or pose?

“Your character is now frightened. Roll against your Endurance.”
“Damn it, another critical failure.”
“Your character suffers a heart attack and dies of fright.”
Really it isn’t that bad an idea if done correctly, and I could see a build like this being quite powerful at higher levels, working Intimidation into a Knight build is actually kind of intriguing.
What’s funny is I’ve never seen anyone try this before, and I’ve seen some *very* unique builds over the years where I played lol (best hands down was a Dwarven thief-acrobat that specialized in interrogation…we had some very…interesting sessions lol)
Knigths with intimidation are not all that rare, but ones that have a decent enough Cha to use it are. I guess its because they usually try to take up leadership spots in the party, and thera can only be so many…
For your consideration though, paladins actually work great with high cha scores. In my particular party our highest cha characters are tied in our paladin and our *barbarian* and they actually work great together,
Assuming they’re playing D&D-like game, the character should have more attribute points than the maximum a single attribute can be raised to…so where are the rest of his points? Clearly not intelligence or wisdom.
Also not in Dexterity, Willpower or Wisdom given that he suffered a Spectacular Failure and was Frightened and the spike trap from earlier.
Given his armor and weapon though he must have some decent strength, especially given that he is a Nord, probably invested in Stamina as well going by his normal play style.

Just to share how this builds CAN be used to great effect: Once my party got a quest to rescue some merchants they had been dealing with from a cult that was going to sacrifice them. they where high enough level that individual cultists were not a threath, but they were about to assault a temple full, so they stopped in a nearby hill to plan. They wound up deciding to proceed with stealth and try to thin them out as much as possible before getting detected… but the paladin (ironically their stealth expert so they expected him to take… Read more »
No idea. I have never heard of it and im pretty sure the paladin hasnt either, he was inspired mainly by some WWE antics. Maybe the cleric had seen it.

Can’t speak for others…but I really like it when The Players come up and have a story arc. As a table top RPG lover, I’m dying laughing reading this, If you’ve played with enough people, at some point, someone is going to act like One *LOL*
justice got served ahah

It’s for the best, really.
That isn’t DM-y enough.
He also soiled and defecated himself.
whahahahahahahahaha
He might be having trouble making Batman but I bet he would make a spectacular bard. :p
Can this be nominated for a grammy or something? Is there an award for comics? I literally couldn’t stop laughing….
This jogged a memory, going back and double checked, sure enough this isn’t the first time he tried to pull this lol

Yeah 🙂 I like the idea that he was still hung up on playing Batman, so he’d try to do it again, but within the constraints of the RPG system.

Conan vs Strum Brightblade huh?
Hahahahaha basically, yeah!
Well Batman is awesome, so I can see why he’d be hung up on it
I cant be the only one thinking further into him doing things, and being underneath people?
This strip is so funny. you got me laughing out loud. My wife is looking at me strangely as I giggle. Well Done!
Makes a knight, puts all points into charisma. Feels more like the dumb Troll then the dark Knight, really. xD
His Batman antics remind me of Krod.

Almost worth trying as an RP experience

Looking back, it seems they’re playing Pathfinder, and while I’m not familiar with character creation there, I’m sure it’s a similar situation.
