Could take the ironic route where the character’s face is covered in so many scars that it looks like an pineapple got in a throwdown with a cross-eyed fruit ninja. No damage anywhere else.

Okay, I am now looking forward to seeing how Tim draws this party looking. From 1’s choice alone I’m expecting one frame of the most ridiculous character designs imaginable, 3 grabbing and crumpling up their sheets, and him telling them to try again.

@Tim: I have (finally) subscribed on patreon (sorry it took so long) but, as far as I can tell, the interface to browse comics there is just horrible. I much prefer this website navigation controls. Is there a way to unlock the “patreon” comics on this site? I think you mentioned this a while ago as something you would do. I hoped logging on the website with my patreon account would make a difference but I don’t see any. Am I missing something?
Same! It makes me happy that this comic is full of Whovians.

I’m reminded of Xing from shadow warrior. He’s gonna have to double down on his charisma skills though since gnawing on his opponents ankle is probably a pretty niche combat skill.

I see these three breaking the old street proverb of
Conserve your ammo
Geek the mage first
Never… ever make a deal with a dragon
That’s quite the callback! Haven’t thought of him in years.

Considering the setting, it wouldn’t be THAT hard to make a character that is just a face, depending on how you wanted to do it. My first thought is some sort of hovering/anti-gravity faceplate that projects a holographic body, so only the “face” is a physical object. Or you could just say you took your original face and transplanted it onto a generic body so only your face is authentic.

It’s the DM’s job to make sure his/her/their players are having a good time.
1st character design: Grotak, heroic barbarian destined to save their tribe from tyranny.
20th character design: sentient piece of bread carried by mage hand

Huh, the Players are slow-rolling the horrors of GMing this time. This one seem almost tame.

I’m surprised no one suggested him creating a ‘Cassandra O’brien.^17’… the other ‘face’ in the episode.

I find it funny that Talesin from Critical Role actually played a character that is a face. Well, a mask technically, but it’s practically just a face!

My first thought is that it’s a Zola or Andross situation.
Got a feeling that’s going to go as well for him as the time he tried to play as a Batman character..
Now he’s just being facetious.
dude just wanna play MODOK
I imagined a head in a jar like in Futurama.
“Moisture me”
Or it’s an Andross situation.
What can go wrong?
A disastrous face-off with the head of the corporation?
“I’ve sent my right hand after you!”
“Your right hand comes off?”
So, Andross… you show your true form!
“MOISTURIZE ME!” from Dr. Who.
Or the Face of Boe, rumored to be formerly known as Jack Harkness.
Both introduced in the same episode, I recall.
Lots of faces in that show 😁

I have a developer working on Patreon integration into this site currently.
Moisturize me! Moisturize me!
Vox?
He’s gonna be Moses from South Park
All I heard when he said he wanted to be a face was The Face of Boe
The Face Face of Boe

A person of culture I see.
So, Zordon?

or…its everybodies job to make sure everybody is having a good time.
Off to a great start… As a forever GM, it hurts to imagine having players like this…
Like MODOK, maybe? 😀
Mind you.. that’s more of a head situation..

20th character design: sentient piece of bread carried by mage hand
