Somewhere, in an aircraft with a glass observation floor a group of PCs are sitting and watching the chaos unfold below while consuming classics together with some fine WINE.
I’ve heard of it happening when people buy cheap parts that aren’t meant to handle the draw of modern video cards from sketchy suppliers, but outside of that I’ve only heard of it happening a small handful of times because of a manufacturing defect.
Meanwhile, consoles can just straight up brick themselves for little to no reason and you can’t just replace the parts, you need to buy a new console…
That Switch is now my favorite Console Wars character.

There’s no way the various armies aren’t just dumping their failures here in the middle of nowhere. It probably isn’t even a border crossroad. It’s just an abandoned village in the ruins of old Sega country. No one has cared about that space since their great grandfathers time in the war.
You see Ivan, if use you rifle scope with peestol…

I just got an image from switch, a 5 year old screaming “MINE! MINE! MINE!” and it’s not their toy.

That shouting mouth in the last panel, especially with the controllers on the side of the head, looks so much like a frilled lizard, I chuckled a lot when I saw that. Can’t unsee it out…

Man, the Switch guys just have intelligence as the plot demands. But I love him.

This is so much fun!
Genius move with the rifle !
I think we are about to witness an unboxing. Very thorough unboxing.
Man this whole airdrop is giving me such Rust vibes back when I played.
When I read Remy’s “the rifle scope can help me”, my first thought was, OMG, they are ALL idiots….
Well that one in particular was shooting at “disguised ennemies”* earlier
*actual rocks
So….

While they’re video card power connectors melt from power draw though.
Yea that was one of the stupidest things I’ve read in a very long time; congratulations, you’ve made everyone here a bit dimmer because of your post.
More likely in a subterranean room, perhaps a “basement” and there are w(h)ine glasses but they have Mountain Dew in them.
You gotta love how quickly console fanboys will set aside their differences whenever the PC comes into the conversation.
And get thoroughly trashed in the comments. Anyone here ever melt their video card connector? Ever?

Yes. In my Xbox 360.
(Ok, it was solder on the card itself, but the joke stands, dammit!)
WINE is getting finer with age . . .

That or an abandoned Ouya settlement
