They have had several serious soldiers and actual tactical missions it’s just not constant like it is with the others. I think this is actually the worst Nintendo squadron I’ve seen since the Switch troops were deployed.
These guys must have some serious joycon drift to be acting this stupid.

I’ve got absolutely no skin in the console wars game (and think people that still seriously do are a bit sad) but I am absolutely here for the lovable and stupid antics of the Switches!
It would be handy to have the news the console wars are referencing below the comic. Especially when looking back through the history, and trying to remember what was happening at the time.
To further elaborate.. ported games to Switch don’t run that well on the Switch. Hence the behavior of the Reds in the comic in relation to the ported games. They just don’t know what to do with them.
To add to what the others have said – I think the Switch is only getting Pentiment and Grounded. Sea of Thieves and Hi Fi Rush may be coming to the Switch’s successor, but are not confirmed for the Switch.
So, we might find out in a future strip that Switch ran out of there so fast that he actually left another box that was meant for him.

Also here to say that I’m not a fan of the new portrayal of the Switches. Liked the original analogy of them being fast and mobile, using only small arms, much more. It’s kind of hard to explain them holding their own against MS and Sony if they’re such morons.

Given the Switch is the third most best-selling console of all time (behind the PS2 and DS) and Nintendo having so many best selling consoles, it’d be interesting to see a “global” perspective of the Console Wars. A different front where Nintendo this elite force of killers and the XBoxes are this small guerilla force barely holding its own.

Apparently you missed the Switches’ first appearance. They were not NEARLY so loveable OR stupid.
they came out swinging hard, and the best are still the force keeping the PS and Xbox squads from taking their lands.
but not all handled the trauma well. drift is a sad sad thing.
These were funnier when they were actually related to something in the console industry.
