Didn’t really think it was going to be that easy did you? Gotta be some drama first.

Ya smart move. Too concussed to aim strait and save your buddy with normal ammunition. Proceed to try useing the big F*off death beam on the target between you and said buddy. If that had worked likely would have killed spek too.
No, really, the power of a star channeled by a weapon on your arm and you point your hand at your face after trying (and failing) to get it to work. You’ll lose more than just eyebrows if that goes off accidentally. XD
He pointed his palm at his own face, not the star-caster; something this advanced most likely has safety-precautions, like that shoulder-cannon in The Predator should have but didn’t.
Interesting. So if his right hand is his off-hand, does that mean that he performs his left hand arts with his right hand? Starcaster is attached to right arm, so I think this is theory confirmed.
Have you tried turning it off and on again?
That’s how they turned it off the first time.
In that case, they should try to force an unexpected reboot.
that is most unfortunate

In fact, one such safety is probably refusing fire if it means destroying the entire location, like if he were to be on an asteroid station.
Looks like he forgot to turn off the safety.
Shouldn’t have dropped the gun. He’s in point blank range now and there’s a perfectly valid opening in his helmet right there.
I never noticed Ryder was a leftie
