I doubt our heroes would be able to outrun the much healthier Federation ships in their ship’s state, and Cort’s not awake to reject Quel’Oran’s help like all the other times. We very well might be able to see how much Quel’Oran will be able to help pretty soon.
Ya, personally I dont mind them actually joining and having a generic “happy ending” but what was that thing about a giant death fleet launching eairler? One that prob has recovering this starcaster as its primary mission. I anticipate them fleeing with Quel’Orans help only for the enemy to arrive before anything really happens.
I hope they *do* join. Quel is a genuinely likeable character, and more contact with him and the ‘good guys’ government would give us a lot more character growth, exploration, and backstory.
