As a reminder to other readers, this pilot was just ambushed by the Dranglaex fleet. You can use the Previous button to go back in this series, as opposed to the CAD updates directly before this.
There are other forces in the universe than gravity. It can go down if, say, the cockpit she was in suddemly changed direction and was hurtling upward, rather than forward. And ironically, that’s what we see at the moment of explosion.
Not ironic in the slightest. I’m saying it the same way a tired dad talks to a whining child. “Gee, you’re hungry? Well, it just so happens that there’s a bowl of Cheerios right in front of you. Completely untouched. I mean, think of the irony; you’ve been sitting here for, what, a half hour, and you didn’t even see it. Right. In front. Of you.”
That’s the voice I have for nitpickers and people who try to poke holes in things that other people have spent a ton of time and energy on without asking for anything in return.
Thank you for mentioning that. I forgot the last couple pages of the last issue, but didn’t feel like going through the archives to find out. A push of the Previous button was much easier.

I like this scene… A LOT!
I can almost hear the heartbeat in the background for tension and the concussion grenade effect in my ears. :O
Guess she’s still alive afterall
“alive” is relative…

They clearly made it down to the surface of a planet; blood doesn’t run down your face in zero gravity.
Depends if their ships have a Grav generator or not

How is that ironic?
I think he’s saying you might be accidentally right.

Not with that attitude.
