It would be somewhat funny if having two starcasters completely fixes the problem with getting hurt by them.
Nobody ever thought of it before because just having one was already awesome, collecting two near impossible.
And Cort eventually gets the other one from when the Lance Major dies.

I’m amazed at the level of control the big brother has over his Starcaster (and how the female Starcaster could use it to create a shield/fly).
I wonder though, if the wielders could lose their arms/be killed so easily, is there something Cort might do differently? Are the bodies of the Draglex more strong and resilient towards attacks?
so far all starcasters have slightly different designs. That could indicate slightly different ability-sets or different specs.
it could also be that the wearer’s psycho/physio-logy determines some of the abilities. giving gold prince more control because he has more restraint?
or maybe it’s just a skill issue 🙂
If you are talking about the one who just schooled the new starcaster guy, pretty sure that is the younger brother. The older one is the one with the new starcaster. Or was this meant as a sarcastic comment that the new starcaster is bad at handling his newly gained power?

All Kelias wants is a little recognition, to be acknowledged and stand beside his brother. Something for which he, probably after decades of standing in the shadow of his older brother, is willing to sacrifice thousands of his soldiers. Yet his brother, who was JUST told to be a leader and show some wisdom, slaps him down again, effectively telling him to remember his place. Oh yeah, that’s going to go over very well, it’s totally not going to widen the rift between the two and cause a falling out. Would have been far better to embrace Kelias right now,… Read more »
Kelias is the older brother who only now has a starcaster. His younger brother Vectanix was the one who got to wear the first starcaster they acquired. What I understand from what daddy just said is that he wanted Vectanix to show that of the two brothers he is still in charge.
Where it says older, just read “more capable brother (in the eyes of father)”
Daddy said that Kelias is a weapon of war, and then asked Vectanix if he lacked the strength to master said weapon. So you are very correct in that he wanted his son to be in a charge of his other son, to control and wield him properly. However, as I said in my first post, I think Vectanix is going about it the wrong way.

There is an important point here both brothers are missing
How many Dranglaex lives would be lost if the Starcaster balance had stayed at Three Federation – One Dranglaex?
My guess is “All of them” eventually
Younger brother’s stupidity might well have saved them all

I’ve never noticed this before, but their eye shadows do reflect their order of birth, huh? Kelias has one line coming ouch of each eye while Vectanix has two.
Nice detail there. Now I can always know which one it is even when they change their clothes for battle.
I like that the brothers have Starcasters on different arms. Makes it easier to tell them apart.
And I just noticed their different colour schemes and armour fittings. I’m still having trouble with names though. That’s always the harder part.
The race name is hard to remember too. But you can start with “Dongless” and make it more edgy.
Or start with Drangleic, if you’re still into Dark Souls 2 …
I get the feeling bros are gonna get into major beef one day and one of them is going to end up with two, one on each arm.

Duly noted.
