Old Ethan would have long since pushed the button and let him out, or been tricked

That’s every ‘evil robot’ storyline cliche right there: evil robot wants to kills us, kill him, no lets save him etc. Would someone please break the cycle? Like they did in Deadpool for example 😛
You are entitled to voice your opinion. But if you don’t like the story, maybe stop reading?

Wasn’t expecting Ethan to be capable of such meaningful words without… you know… ending a page with his foot in his mouth.

Has Ethan even considered that they don’t need to save Zeke. Seriously aside from him wanting a robot buddy what’s the point? It’s not like they need Zeke to bridge the gap between human and robots and any information they need about his creator they could just piece from his memory banks especially if he is able of recording what he sees. Ethan is basically trying to reform a murderer who by all accounts likes being a murderer.
I love winches on cars without ever owning a car nor ever driving one which has one nor do I plan on driving where I’d maybe need one. I actually and recently dreamed of having one.
Issue 6 page 27.
And let’s not forget the *THREE* times it came this ? close to murdering Lucas. Just because it failed doesn’t mean it sure wasn’t trying its hardest.
It clearly wants to kill and will kill if unimpeded.
Exactly. This isn’t like Batman: The Enemy Within in which Joker is still on the fence on what type of person he wants to be. Zeke has made it abundantly clear he is absolutely pro ‘kill humans’.
We all like Zeke, and for all practical purposes, he(?)’s a person. He never had the chance to develop positive feelings to mankind (a lot of us didn’t) and many people simply don’t understand the concept of “love thy next” (but want to be loved).
If any other person showed the same enjoyment of violence and killing and committed the same actions that Zeke has then they’d rightfully be locked away for a long time. Although I think you hit on something important as well. Ethan needs to decide if he wants Zeke to be a person or a robot. If he’s a robot then they should give up trying to change him and just delete the ‘hate humans’ programming from him. If he’s a person then Ethan needs to accept the possibility that he’s a bad person who actually likes hurting people(after all there’s… Read more »
And so a leap of faith…

That’s all it takes kid: A leap of faith
I do love this version of Ethan.
Still whacky at times. But there is some real depth of character as well.
Just this one strip shows how much more mature he is than his last version. And i mean the bar was pretty low, but its an amazing improvement

Who’s he murdered?
At the very least Ethan on several occasions. Just because he comes back doesn’t mean he wasn’t murdered.
Zeke said he loved the sound of Ethan being stabbed in the chest. You don’t start loving something until you’ve experienced it a few times.

Which month and year was Issue 6 first being published? I can’t seem to zero in on it in the archives.
He is an attempted murderer.
An enthusiastic attempted murderer.
