Someone might have already asked this, but do some of the regularly used enviroments have a rendered 3D version of them?

Not to be a “that-guy” but, hey, why not? Considering all the abilities Zeke claims to have, wouldn’t he have been able to tell it was Lucas coming instead of Ethan just by the sound of his footsteps?

He would have to care in the slightest to compare foot steps.

I may be reading a bit too much into it but the “It’s about time…” shows that he is, at the very least, anticipating the interaction with, dare i say, excitement?

I mean playing video games with Ethan is far better than sitting there all day.

If they all look the same, likely they all sound the same, too.

I mean, he says that but it’s fairly obvious a lot of things he says like that are meant to antagonize. He also claimed to be able to tell if someones lieing by the sound of their heartbeat so he’s obviously able to differentiate minuscule changes in sound.

This will be an interesting conversation. This could take awhile but we could get so much good story progression here. Can’t wait for this actually, could give us a good idea of how zeke will fit into this story long term.

I’m assuming a little of both, what with that thing in the last main issue where his old costume “shrunk in the wash”

It kinda seems like there is a discrepency between when zeke says where have you been avoiding me and then says “oh I think you have”

I haven’t been around these parts in a while, and now I’m starting to look at the stuffed Zeke in my bathroom differently…

Ahhh truly the most devastating weapon in human history “I want to talk”. Many men have fallen to such words.

It is the only thing he currently has to look forward to during his current confinement.

He’s very smart but socially a dunce. INT 18, WIS/CHR 6

He’s in the reverse uncanny valley of antisocial behavior. We like him being a dunce. The sweet spot where CHR 6.01 works as if it were 18.

I’m very interested to see this conversation. I’ve been dying to see someone…more thoughtful… have an actual talk with Zeke. I know Zeke was a part of the old comic and therefore might seem to be guarenteed to stay in this, but I actually feel like Zeke might not be redeemable. I’m curious to see how this plays out.

I figure this will go one of two ways: we’ll see a breakthrough in Zeke’s character in which he addresses the trauma and pain of having been a slave for pretty much the entirety of his sentient existence and start accepting that not all humans are like his master(or Ethan) or he’ll confirm that he truly does look down on humans and enjoys hurting them(much to Ethan’s horror).

Option three. They are keeping him in their store room. Since his builder knows who they are, he sends other robots to retrieve Zeke. And neither Lucas nor Zeke moves forward at the moment. As outside forces well force the line to continue.

Red-eye Zeke is a violent murderhappy killerbot. I don’t think Lucas (or anyone) can talk him out of it.
Ether Scott needs to remove his killer-code or some other event will turn him green-eyed.

I think this particular story is too much about consciousness and free-will to “remove his killer-code”. It would feel too much like invasive brain surgery.

Did you just jump back in? In this incarnation of the universe, Zeke is a ninja robot enslaved by a lunatic that tried to kill Ethan and Lucas, who are super heroes. They managed to capture him and Ethan is doing his best to convince Zeke not to want to murder humans.
