ConnectiCon 2005

July 13, 2005 by Tim

This weekend I will be in Hartford, Connecticut to attend ConnectiCon. For most of the weekend I will be in the dealer’s room with Brian and Scott.

We should have t-shirts and posters. I’m offering another Limited Edition Print like I did a couple of months ago at Anime Boston. These sold really fast, so I assume people enjoyed them.

Same deal as before. There are only 100 copies of this print, and they will only be available at ConnectiCon 2005. The first 100 people who purchase a regular poster ($10) will receive the Limited Edition print FREE. This is the only way to get a print. I will not sell them individually. The artwork was a piece I had done last year around the time Spider-man 2 hit theaters. I’ve gotten a lot of requests for this in print, and this is the first (and only) time it has ever been available. This is what the print looks like:

When I’m not at the dealer’s booth, I will most likely be at one of my panels (or off partying somewhere). My panels schedule is as follows (also listed in parenthesis is the room it is held in):

Friday
10am to 11:30am- Web Comic Behind the Scenes (Panel 2)
6pm to 8pm- Uber Web Comic Panel (Main Events)

Saturday
4pm to 5pm-Web Comic Artist/Writer Auction (Main Events)
6:30pm to 7:30pm- Meet and Greet: CTRL ALT DEL (Panel 1)

Sunday
2:30pm to 4pm- Web Comic Behind the Scenes (Panel 2)
5p.m. to 6p.m. Closing Ceremonies (Main Events)

I would also like to take this opportunity to announce the team representing Ctrl+Alt+Del in the ConnectiCon Webcomic Challenge.

Brian Carroll
Lee Wilson
Pete Williams
Rett Mikhal
Oscar Diaz
Thomas Stuart

Some of them are returning from last year’s team, some of them are new. It was a very difficult decision and I want to thank everyone who applied for the team.

I am participating in an auction to benefit the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund. Not an auction for artwork or free merchandise mind you… an auction for ME. At 4pm on Saturday you will have the chance to bid on dinner with me for Sunday evening.

On top of all of the other great events that ConnectiCon is hosting, it’s sure to be a fun weekend.
