Kane and Lynch looks like a really cool game. I’ve been following it loosely since it was announced. That it’s being developed by the same company that puts out the Hitman games is an immediate boost in status in my book. And so far the game as looked like it will be something pretty fun to play.
But tell me this doesn’t sound like some of the most interesting multiplayer to hit the scene in recent times. The whole concept is just fresh. And from reading the article, it seems like they have most of the bases covered. There are good penalties for betrayal, which will hopefully contain random idiocy on XBL, either through preventative or vengeful measures. I’m excited to see how it plays out.
However, the game is supposed to come out the same day as Mass Effect, and that could pose a problem. I mean, I’m sure it’s entirely possible that there may be small windows of time during my Mass Effect marathon where I’ll want a break and play something else for a few minutes… but I’m not counting on it.
