It has not disappeared

We have just about decided on a city, venue and date for the CAD LAN party next year. I promise I will get that information to you just as soon as things are settled. I don’t want to announce it until we’ve signed a contract and things are set in “stone”.

But trust me when I tell you, this is shaping up to be one hell of an event. We’ve got some great sponsors lined up, and in addition to the obvious PC LAN, we plan to set up stations with whatever next generation consoles are available by next spring.

It’s going to be one hell of a weekend, and I can’t wait to start giving you guys all of the details.

We are going to make travel and lodging as convenient as possible, and hopefully set up a forum so people can hook up with other attendees for carpooling and roomsharing if you so desire.

We are going to be capping attendance though, so most registrations will be sold online. I doubt we’ll be selling any tickets at the door. Just a fair warning that if you wish to attend, you may want to prep yourself for when tickets go on sale.

But I’m getting ahead of myself. The next announcement I make will be to tell you the official website is live with the beginning of the pertinent information.

Right now I’m going to go mess around in the City of Villain beta test. I’ll let you know how that goes.
