Yesterday we changed some information relating to our domain that may have left the website inaccessible to some of you for a short while. I apologize for the unannounced downtime, sometimes ISPs can take a while to refresh their DNS cache.
This weekend I’ll be packing up and making the trek down to good ol’ Hartford, Connecticut for ConnectiCon. I’ll be there on Friday and Saturday, in the dealer’s room (Table #806), sandwiched between a couple of other no-good, forehead-licking nickel-tossers.
You can come hang out with my Friday morning at a panel, and we’ll shoot the shit, or you can catch me Friday evening talking about video games on some panel about video games. Or you can come by my table and chat, buy some shit, or play a round of UFC or Fight Night R4.
I’ll have some standard fare available… a limited selection of shirts and books and posters. If you’re in the market for that sort of thing, you may have an opportunity to pick some of this stuff up on the cheap… I’m anxious to get these boxes out of my house, discounts abound!
Additionally, as has become customary, I’ll be running a raffle this year for charity. If you purchase a raffle ticket ($10), you will receive one of these nifty signed and very limited edition 11″x17 posters:
All profits will be donated to the ASPCA. I’ll have a ton of stuff with me to give away in the raffle, including hardcover copies of the books, vintage out-of-print CAD apparel, and even a set of the sold-out, limited edition Ctrl+Alt+Del Maquettes. You can purchase additional raffle tickets for $1.
On top of that, I’m offering up a small token for ConnectiCon’s Webcomic Auction for Child’s Play. You will be able to bid on a chance to appear as a character in an upcoming short Ctrl+Alt+Del story-arc. If you are the winning bidder, I’ll sit down with you at the convention and we’ll design and sketch out your character together, and discuss some ideas for the storyline. You can take home the original sketch, and in the near future you’ll have a cameo in the comic strip alongside the main characters.
So perhaps I’ll see you this weekend!
Also… the daily sillies have returned!
