Second-hand reading is a huge problem in the webcomics world. It robs authors of first-hand views. We’re always looking to combat that growing issue that is plaguing our industry, and so it is with great pleasure that today I can announce our new initiative to promote first-hand reading, “Project Fourth Panel.”

When a comic is released, it will contain all but the last panel. Fans reading the comic new will be sent a single-use registration voucher to download the last panel. However, people reading the comic second-hand will need to purchase one of these vouchers for $10 in order to get the complete comic experience.

We think it’s a great idea. We think it’s going to build our business, and provide a positive consumer experience.
