Quick, stash the head crate!

I’ve been absolutely hooked on Condemned 2 Crime Scene multiplayer this past weekend. I sign on for a quick couple of matches, and then it’s “well, just one more” for the next couple of hours. It’s really fun, and it’s also a shame because I know a lot of people are going to pass right over Condemned 2 because it’s either a) not a Haloz! or b) they never played the first one, so they don’t know what they’re missing.

Rainbow Six Vegas 2 hits shelves this week, which will probably pull me away from Condemned 2 multiplayer for a little while. I generally really enjoy games like Call of Duty, Ghost Recon, and Rainbow Six. I think it’s because I have a great deal of respect for police and armed forces, and I like to think that had I not loved drawing so very much, I might have chosen a career like that. You know, doing something important.

Not that I could, mind you. I have a problem with authority, and don’t take easily to people telling me what to do, so I probably wouldn’t have cut it in one of those high discipline fields. But that’s what video games are for. I can pretend to do all the cool stuff they do, with none of the years of training or dedication required. Good enough for me.

If you’ve signed up for Season 2 of the Ctrl+Alt+Del Animated Series, I wanted to let you know that the first episode of the season will go live on March 31st. I know, it’s as late as possible while still being “March”, but that’s why we left ourselves that vague window. So that we could make sure we launch when we’re ready.

I’m really pleased with how these episodes are turning out so far. I see a noticeable improvement over Season 1, and that was my goal, so I’m happy. I really hope that you’ll enjoy them as well. And don’t forget, you can sign up now to view the episodes as they are released, and then a year from now when the DVD with all the extras launches, you’ll be able to purchase it at half price.

I’ll be at ConnectiCon this August in full capacity (table, merch, panels, etc). It will probably be the only convention I do this year. I really wanted to try and hit GenCon Indy, but unfortunately that may have to wait for another year.

Little homage in Saturday’s strip for ya.

Have a Happy St. Patrick’s day.
