Starring Marshmallow Man

April 9, 2008 by Tim

I am a bit saddened to see that the Iron Man game’s new release date is now in the first week of May. When I checked a couple of weeks ago, it was scheduled to come out at the end of April, a good week before GTA4 and the Iron Man movie. More than enough time to beat what will most likely be a relatively short, straight action game.

Now it’s been tossed into the week that GTA4 comes out. Pulling myself away to catch the movie, that’s a no-brainer. I’ll be at a midnight showing come hell or high water, or/and a early afternoon Friday showing. But taking time out for another game? That’s a tougher proposition, no matter how much I love Iron Man.

GTA4 is certainly high on my list of most anticipated titles for this year, right there with Force Unleashed, Warhammer Online and Age of Conan. From what I’ve read/heard, the hype seems to be justified.

But until then, RSV2 seems to be maintaining my interest, far longer than the original did, due in part I think to no new stuff dragging my attention away. I’ve actually attained the rank of officer, something I never played enough to do in the original. Team Leader continues to be my game of choice, and despite my frustrations with the 500 Tactical, I play almost daily.
