Ok, with eleven days left (holy shit, how did that happen?), I need to try and reach Digital Overload attendees for some last minute important issues.
First of all, I still have some registration payments that I am unable to attach to accounts because I have not heard back from the payees. Please, if you paid for yourself, or paid for someone else, but do not see them listed on the list of attendees, email me. I’d like to not have you show up expecting a badge and we have no idea who you are.
Second, I urge you all to print out and sign your event waiver and bring it with you. This will help speed up the check-in process on Friday. If you are under 18 and attending Digital Overload, you MUST print this out and have it signed by your parent/guardian and bring it with you to the event. If you don’t, we cannot let you into the event for legal reasons. I don’t want to have to turn anyone away, so please make sure you remember this.
We’re hoping to have your accounts open for you to update your equipment for the event in the next day or two. At which point I’ll ask you all to make sure that the equipment you want to bring is up to date in your profile. This will also help speed up the check-in process.
One of our network guys has written up a great preparation thread that you should read if you’re attending Digital Overload.
I’ve posted the current Digital Overload Floorplan, which you will also find in your event program booklets when you arrive. This should help you figure out where you and your buddies want to sit ahead of time.
I think that’s it for right now. If you’re not coming to Digital Overload, I’m sorry you can’t make it. Eleven more days and I promise you won’t have to listen to me talk about it for another year.
