Update on EU Bookset Orders

February 28, 2017 by Tim

So here’s the latest on the pallet of Ctrl+Alt+Del 1.0 books heading to EU for distribution:

The paperwork has been filled out, the freight cost has been paid, I’m now just waiting for the pallet to board the ship.

This step took a little longer because the distributor wanted to rebox the sets before sending them overseas. The reason is, they ordered special boxes just to ship these books in, which the warehouse in Germany does not have. So rather than ship the books to Germany and then have them damaged by local delivery due to inferior packaging, they boxed them all up here the good way, and then they’ll make the trip.

As soon as the books are on the boat, and we have an estimated delivery in Germany, I’ll post another update.

More than half the books on this pallet are spoken for, but there are still some left. If you live in the UK/EU, and want to grab a CAD 1.0 Book set, this is your cheapest option. The details can be found here.
