Web comic artist needs housing!

December 15, 2003 by Tim

Ok, before I mention anything, I have to direct you here. I could not, in good conscience, let you start your Monday off without seeing that. Rejoice.

Now that that is out of the way, we’ve got a few things to talk about. First up, let me tell you a bit about the store, and current orders. As of tomorrow, all but maybe one or two orders will be mailed. That’s right, you heard me correctly. All of them. I’ve finally gotten on top of the store orders, and they should reach you all before christmas. I will be emailing you to discuss options if yours was one of the one or two that were out of stock.

The store will reopen after christmas sometime, hopefully sooner rather than later. It will contain new items and a new look, and be totally reworked. I will be operating under a different bookeeping system, so orders will be going out much more quickly than they are currently.

Now I need to ask you guys for some help. I need to start looking for an apartment in the Fredericksburg/Stafford county region of Virginia. I’m hoping that some of you might be able to lend a hand, either by talking to people you know, looking in some local newspapers/bulletin boards/college housing offices, etc. Bearing in mind that I am but a poor web comic artist, it would be great to keep the rent in the vicinity of $5-600. Any leads would be greatly appreciated, and can be emailed to me. If I end up with an apartment via this method, the original finder will be gifted with merchandise of cottony goodness. Thanks in advance for your help.

Hey, if you guys are looking for some affordable hosting, our current sponsors FuitadNET may have what you need. Go on over and check it out!

Don’t forget about the LAN I’ll be attending in Houston, Texas on December 22nd. I’ll repost the details later this afternoon, but if you don’t want to wait, you can just read the news posts from a few days back.
