I got what you said now, but it sounded like you said you didn’t miss terry pratchett, and I got all upset. And I haven’t played divinity, so I thought it was just a lemon wizard, and personally, I like that image more.
It’s what they call wielders of a certain form of Magic, called Source, in Divinity. There are other kinds of Magic, but Source is the most powerful however when used summons evil creatures. In Divinity 1 your main characters were “Source Hunters” who hunted down these Sourcerers.

I remember while Playing Divinity Original Sin with a friend, when he would be picking up the quest I’d spend my time stealing everything that isn’t nailed down while the NPC was busy talking with him.
somehow reminds me of borderlands 2, or to that matter magicka (its btw possible in borderlands2, or was at least, to kill friends … few discovered was commandos rocked pod did friendly fire explosions, deathcalps slap was able to instakill player chars that wasnt you, in one mission you could kill player by blowing terrain under him/her etc:D)
So an auto scrolling ad where the ads x button doesn’t work and instead sends me to a website where they try to use pop up ads just appeared on my mobile. The ad itself shows just a black screen and says “By Taboola” in the top left for.
A lot of those about, I’ve mentioned them to Tim a few times. Some just redirect and you can’t get the content. He was going to poke the ad people with a pointy stick I think…
Does becoming a supporter remove ads? I’ve never considered paying to remove ads before, but I firmly believe that the quality of your work and the enjoyment I’ve gotten out of it for the last decade justifies you having enough food to keep you alive, and some of the new ads are just annoying enough to make me want them gone.
Just popping in on some interesting idea for me…
If i was to pay, to remove ads from the site, I would consider disabling my ad blocker.
I’m OK to pay for the site not being a financial burden for you. I had fun and joy reading it for many years. But I find advertisement on the Internet really invasive. Thus the ad blocker…
What would be a possible amount for me is around 1€ a month.
If you paid to have the ads removed then you wouldn’t need to turn off your adblocker (the ads being gone makes the two views identical). I suggest if at all possible just give the money on patreon and just leave your adblock up. As bonus you also get some additional comics and if Tim ever becomes bear man you can be a bear leutenient.
I’ll reply to myself as I can’t reply to Hamste 🙂
Sorry but I like the site, so I’m not going to see the comics on another site (like I don’t want to change my habit). That’s why I suggest to pay for the ad-less site… And 3$ a month is just too much for me 😉 I am also dad to kids and need to keep my budget tight.
But that’s just my opinion.
I used to pay, but I would miss comics that were only posted on this site and not on Patreon; is still still a thing or is Patreon now the complete package?
At $3+ everything that gets posted to the site gets posted to Patreon first.

Oh I remember this, it was always fun in the Original Sin I to get into a really dramatic talk with one of the two main characters, switch to the other then run around the area looting with glee and stacking boxes around the person I was about to fight.
Good times.

As anybody who has watched Naruto knows, orange is super stealthy!
Not as stealthy as you would be if you had an r, Mastery of Thief, Ninja, Monk, Mystic Knight, Ranger, Samurai, Geomancer and Oracle

I’d really love to play this game – it’s getting amazing reviews and is right up my alley – but the fact that it’s only PC is killing me. I sit at a desk for 10 hours a day for work, then another 4 hours for school. From the look of it, there’s no current plans to port to console. To those who have played it – do you need the keyboard, or can you just use a standard XB1 or Switch Pro connected to the computer? If it can be controlled just by a normal controller, then I might… Read more »
Honestly, you can play anything with an XB1 controller using a third party app like InputMapper. It just maps the keyboard keys to the gamepad buttons.
You can play the game with any pad and it was built into the game from release (unlike the first game) which makes it safe to assume that it will get a console release!

My exact problem with borderlands. When I played SP I could read the story and get all the jokes, but the game was bland as a single player experience. On MP, the game was fun, but cound’t read anything.

Sourcerer
/Sor-sir-rer/
Noun
Synonyms: Citrusmancer, Harold, Protomage
1. One who uses the Source; A Jedi Clone’s origin
2. A mage, wizard, or other thaumaturgist whose powers are centered around the sourness of food, especially citrus and related fruits.
3. A horrifically non-autocorrected mistake that somehow gets into a game

Good to see you’re also loving Divinity II, Tim. It’s a fantastic game (we’re still in Fort Joy)!

Fun fact, this comic can be designed from any character. Guys, we said we were doing this encounter, but the sourcerer is talking to every NPC…
“Sourcerer”? Why’s he so sour?
As in, someone that wields Source, a type of magic in Rivellon. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Divinity:_Original_Sin#Plot
Don’t you mean a Wizard who is a source of magic? https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sourcery
I miss Terry Pratchett 🙁
Not unless they make a 4 player coop Discworld game, I dont. 🙂
I got what you said now, but it sounded like you said you didn’t miss terry pratchett, and I got all upset. And I haven’t played divinity, so I thought it was just a lemon wizard, and personally, I like that image more.
Anybody get the number of the donkey cart?
Necro, I know, but does a lemon wizard join a lemon party?
Well shoot, now this needs to happen
It’s the sauce. sour sauce.
Sourcerer?
They are always gloomy and never get along with people. At least they aren’t bitter.

Paintings fetch a nice price 🙂

Magicka multiplayer was always fun. A list of spells is nice to have, as well as dedicated roles, but sometimes pure disorganized chaos is more fun.
I still remember a few combinations that, when used in multiplayer, are almost more likely to kill your team than to kill the monsters.
That, and the game of “How many dirty words can I make with the 8 keys I’m allowed to use, and how many of these are actually useful” was equally fun.
Lemme see….
There’s “Filth, dirt, grime, slime…”

We were testing out some new ads by taboola. The returns don’t justify the garbage, so we’re removing the ones below the comments.
Hooray! I wish I had read that before I made a post about it.

Not exactly. It won’t remove ads from this site, but if you Patreon at $3+ a month you get the comics early, so you can read them there (ie, no ads).

If you want you could play the first one which is on the consoles and is an amazing game as well with similar concepts and gameplay.
I’ve only played with XB1 controller, It works fine.
