I feel like you might not have thought that through…. remember the problem with playing Zeke in warhammer 40k in the original comics? This ones seems supposedly smarter, so most people would probably rage out facing this

And there we go. One more crazy entity officially added to the roster. Me likey.
For the first time, I get the feeling former-murderbot and Ethan will get along splendidly.
Well, they could use a decent melee fighter in their super hero adventurer party. Maybe someday they’ll progress enough for that to happen. He’d even fit the theme!
I’d like to see this one happen, or at least an on-off partnership if Zeke goes his own way eventually (after the presumably-inevitable drama after Scott’s security measurements are revealed/discovered by Zeke or Ethan).
Zeke seems not to have (m)any issues with killing humans though, so if that happens, that’d probably put him somewhere in the anti-hero territory, unless his view on that changes.

We’re actually doing really well in regards to our supply of not having a robot peel our skin off. Got anything else?

Oh, they just so happen to also be in short supply of information on his former master. I would be altering this deal.

I’d negotiate to have that include not ripping off my nails and hair
Zeke’s whole “I am superior” thing doesn’t hold up as well in a world with superheroes. I mean, he can be pretty confident in being above average, but he probably wouldn’t hold up against any of the higher tiers.
To be fair, we’re not exactly sure where those tiers are, and if Ethan and Lucas are low-tier or high-tier. We just know the social pecking order and legal permissions.
And Z1 was strong enough to make Lucas look like a complete joke, without even really trying. So maybe he’s can’t out-Super a Superman, but he can totally out-Bat a Batman or out-Spider a Spider-Man.
And honestly, who knows what other things he could accomplish if given the tools to improve himself?
It does still hold up from the whole “ageless and repairable” angle, though. Not to mention the capability to upgrade his body/bodies. The ability to download and learn information instantaneously. Etc.
He may not have the sheer raw power of a top tier superhero, but unless they’ve got a ridiculously overpowered power set, he has at least one, and likely multiple, (non-combat) advantages that they do not.
Even ignoring the superheroes, assuming he only has this single body, and no Ultron-style replication or uploading himself into the Internet (as we weren’t shown any of those so far), if he really tried to take over using violence, modern military could make short work of him, as soon as they found him. I’m not talking guns here, but things like guided long range missiles fired from an aircraft or a drone (as soon as he’d be caught far away enough from regular people), for example. Though things like regular bullets in large enough number would probably do the job,… Read more »

“Now, let us discuss the continued distribution of power into your newly acquired kingdom.”
I’ve thought about that too, but since they want to earn Zeke’s trust and good will, they need to proceed carefully. And seeing as Ethan seems to enjoy playing games with him (video games that is, other kind of “playing games” looks to be Scott’s domain here), and they have a full store of those*, that particular demand shouldn’t be much of a problem. *Sure, they are wares to be sold, but they can spare a single copy of some, or maybe just bring their own they have already. Hmm. If Zeke gets allowed Internet access (or maybe gets in… Read more »

Ya know. Ever since the original run ended I’ve missed Z. The way you’re bringing him back is absolutely excellent. can already see the hints of what he used to be shining through but in an entirely new way.

Something tells me he’s been playing too much Fire Emblem.
Love Ethan’s reactions to Zeke in the last few pages. Even the dimwit can see through the front.

Despite his claims to superiority and particularly superior intellect, he hasn’t really done much thinking about *why*. I don’t mean ‘why was he created?’. We know that. I don’t mean ‘Why is he here?’ (with the heroes). We know that. I mean ‘What is the point in life?’. If one is actually superior to all others, there’s no challenge to anything and no useful interactions to some extent. It’s sort of a pointless existence. Also, if he had though a lot about stuff and had been pulling some of the philosophers over the net, he might have to consider the… Read more »

So I loved the comic before the reboot. I have to say I haven’t been in love as much after. But this one. This one shows the growth of the story and the love you have for the world you are building. Like before we the readers watched the characters from the outside. We would get a glimpse into there world through your comics. We watched each passing year your skills as an artist and as a story writer level up. I love the slow build-up you have been doing. Yes, I wasn’t a fan of the reboot and at… Read more »

Embla? Is that you?
BTW when is Ethan going to marry Windows 10?
I’d take that proposal and run with it. Good to see Z1 in good spirits finally.
oof, that’s a nice bargain you got going there, Ethan, I wouldn’t hesitate and take it right away
Right? Name me a gamer that wouldn’t want to play games with a sentient android.
Certainly better than a sentient iOS. ?
That’s picking the low hanging Apple.

Whoa now! Let’s not go crazy with our demands here!
It’s a remarkably good trade
Honestly seeing Z rationalize his fear and present a front to not show his weakness to the others is the most human thing he has done.
Seeing these two together again really makes me happy.
Now we just need Lilah back in a significant way.
Scott really needs a girlfriend.
Or a pet. I miss his penguin.
Z1/Zeke being all tsundere-like. I love it. xD

Possibility of Ultron-style replication into an army too. And multiprocessing that humans could not match.
