Well, as I half expected, Smash Bros. Brawl has been delayed again. The new (expected) release date is March 9th, the very last day of Digital Overload. We were hoping to run a tournament for the game this year (and last year, but clearly it was delayed over and over again).

I posted up a quick forum poll for attendees of Digital Overload to throw me some feedback on what they’d like to see happen with the tournament. We can hope that Brawl comes out that morning, grab it right away and then run a tournament for it blind. I vote for this option, just because of the mayhem that would ensue with everyone experiencing the game for the first time in a competitive atmosphere.

Or we can scratch it now while we still have a couple of months to choose and plan for some other game.
