Assuming that the system is fully digital the antenna won’t tell you anything other than (possibly) the frequency band/ expected signal range. As the antenna itself isn’t anything more than a way to propagate or receive a signal the actual hardware that Scott needs is the Rx/Tx (receiver/transmitter).
