“I am Iron Man”

I agree completely with the sentiment, but your delivery utterly failed.

… but the entire Internet already knew – just by simply reading cad-comic.com on an everyday basis. :p
Next panel: A- and D-Pad together ROFLing about that useless kind of attack.

Wouldn’t that increase their sales if more people come to their shop to buy stuff while asking for photos?

That or given how low their status is nobody will even know who the hell they are. THAT would be a blow to the ol self esteem, to have your secret identity revealed to the world only for nobody to even notice or care.

Really those are the two outcomes I see as most likely from this, either it helps their business and dating lives, or it has no impact whatsoever.

Well, that or Scott just hacks the signal so that the entire broadcast is just a still shot of him talking with cheeto dust on his face *snickers*

Made me remember scene from Justice League Unlimited series
Lex Luthor (in Flash’s body): If nothing else, I can at least learn Flash’s secret identity.
* removes mask in front of a mirror *
Lex Luthor (in Flash’s body): … (annoyed) I’ve no idea who this is.

I remember a book a read like that. Two sidekicks fall through a roof and lose their masks. The see each other and one goes “Emily” and then she goes “you, don’t we go to the same school”

If I remember right there is a registry of sorts for superheroes in this universe. This could actually be a risk of hefty fines or even jail time in that case.

The registry is to allow legal loopholes for high-profile heroes; it’s specifically stated that unregistered heroes are tolerated as long as collateral is negligible.

Well…maybe this will help Ethan work things out with Emily?…Eh?

Yeah, this is probably gonna be a disaster. They might not have any choice but to register with the government superhero agency now. Captain Prime already doesn’t like them, and now they may have to put up with her more than ever. A superhero keeping their regular life private and relatively normal is hard. A superhero with their identity open to the public is typically a nightmare.

Or maybe Emily thinks he’s crazy desperate and gives her “tell-all” version inadvertently “debunking” the story to Lilah at ONN? After which only Captain Prime actually buys that it’s them?

Unless he had cameras and microphones on the warehouse last time.

Hey, at least it’ll drive a ton of business to the game store!

Until it’s blown up the following Tuesday, that is.

Something else to note. We don’t know if the Troll is better/out of coma from their encounter. Either way, I’m sure they might be in more trouble than just a bunch of fanboys giving them no privacy. Doubt the government wants to have them officially superheroes due to that incident, so may go into charging them with being vigilantes or unregistered superheroes.

Isn’t that just going to call a lot of heat on his own agenda? If it’s an anonymous tip it won’t go viral, if he makes it big enough to go viral the superhero hackers are going to investigate.

I’m thinking that Ethan’s reaction is relief and possibly excitement, his last argument with Emily he told her the truth. Now it will be proof he did not lie, and the truth did not come from him.

First motive heroes have secret Ids is to protect loved ones. The second is avoiding all the legal consequences of being a civilian doing police work. Considering people think Analog is a murderer..

Oooooh. Color me intrigued. That’s some Injustice Superman right there. That warrants a definite tip of the hat to Eugene and helps shore up his ‘supervillain’ cred a little.

And? I mean, the internet is so full of random news and data, the naysayer’s will probably drown out anyone else, no one will agree, and it’ll get lost in the deluge of news in the next week. Yeah, a couple people who are net savvy may find it and use it, but quite honestly, this is the dumbest idea the guy could have.

That merits a “So?” from the duo. I mean, it might seem awful at first, and it might be negative overall. But nothing huge. But it’s not like they have a list of arch-nemesis just waiting to know who they are, or a long list of people in their lives they need to protect. Also, they’re not nearly big enough in the world or even the local stage, for the news to cause much mayhem. This guy and the X-Bot knowing, sounds like a “worst case scenario” to me already. Who else could pose a serious threat, if they knew?… Read more »

I have a feeling Scott/Zeke may help block their identities being revealed, and maybe he later fights his improved successor bot.

Threatening to drop their names online. Misses the part where they know his name too. They get on a cape watch list, or maybe even offered protection for bringing something big down, he gets prison time for property damage, multiple counts of attempted murder, and Zeke maybe gets handed over to the feds. I don’t see where he wins in this scenario. Best case for him, they’re mildly inconvenienced with notoriety and he gets a few more days of waifu-binging before it all falls apart.
